Biography
Dr. Alqroom is a Jordanian consultant of neurosurgery and spine surgery. Made his medical degree at Aristotele Medical School in 2002 and complete neurosurgery residence in 2011 at King Hussein Hospital, Royal Medical Services, Jordan. Finished his neurosurgery fellowship at Klinikum Rechts der Isar of Technischen Universität Munich-Germany and spine fellowship at Klinikum Dortmund- Germany. He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He had a major role in revolutionizing the spine surgery section at his home center- Royal Medical Services. Since 2016 till now he is a Clinical Instructor of medical school/ Hashemite University. He has over 800 cases of spine, brain and trauma surgery. He was invited as a lecturer and session chair by many International Spine Societies. He is an editor in chief and a reviewer at many journals. He has more than 30 international publications. He is an ex-elected officer Eurospine and a member of many national and international organizations. His main academic interests include Complex spine surgery, revisions spine surgery, and minimally invasive spine surgery in addition to his interest in trauma and brain tumors treatment.
