Pediatric neurology is the medicine division that involves the treatment of infants, children and adolescents. Pediatric neurologists treat a range of issues linked to epilepsy, impaired speech, strokes, head injuries, brain tumors, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, behavioral problems, autism, sleep problems and more. Pediatrists both work in hospitals, especially those working in their subspecialties such as neonatology, and as primary care doctors.
